Union of Electricity Industry of Estonia / Eesti Elektritööstuse Liit (ETL)


The main purpose of the Association is to stand up for the common interests of the employers in the field of electricity and the interests of the employees of these organisations in both Estonia and the European Union. According to the articles of association, the recently established association is a public organisation that can be joined by all employers operating in the field of electricity, associations in the field of electricity, and training establishments providing training in the field of electricity. At the moment, the number of members in the association amounts to 5.000 people. The members of the association appointed Lembit Vali, Manager of AS Narva Elektrijaamad and a Member of the Management Board of Eesti Energia, as the Chairman of the Association. The first task of the Management Board was to submit an application for joining the Estonian Employers’ Confederation and the European Union of the Electricity Industry. The founders of the Association of Estonian Electrical Industry are: AS Eltel Networks, AS Siemens, AS Energoremont, AS Elektriteenused, ABB AS, Eesti Energia AS, AS Narva Elektrijaamad and OÜ Põhivõrk.
