Tampere Adult Education Centre, TAKK is one of the biggest Adult Training Centres in Finland and an institute that provides a large variety of course programmes for more than 12 000 students yearly. The course programmes include vocational basic, further and supplementary education and short courses according to the needs of the working life. The policy consists among other things of up-to-date learning methods and – environments, specialized custom services and expert knowledge in our fields of adult education. TAKK is owned by Tampere Adult Education Foundation, which was founded in 1962 and has representatives from the City of Tampere, Tampere Chamber of Commerce, Employer and Employee Organisations.
